My Role

I managed Instagram and TikTok, leading campaigns that included influencer collaborations, mall TV ads, and large storefront announcement banners. I photographed customers with their food for social media, created 2-for-1 promotions to attract students, and introduced incentives for staff to post reels. I also created marketing decks and proposals for new locations, ensuring all visuals aligned with Kimiko’s playful tone.

Context : Kimiko’s marketing efforts focused on promoting the brand to new audiences and supporting new store launches

Before my involvement, Kimiko had no social media presence, no promotions, and no brand recognition in Bogotá. Customers  passed by not understanding what the restaurant offered, leading to low visibility and putting the business at risk

Solution

I built Kimiko’s marketing system from the ground up. I Launched influencer campaigns and location-based promotions, created social media reels with employeesm, and presentation proposals to introduce brand to mall administration for store expansion. I also designed "coming soon" banners for new stores and local mall advertisements.

Social Media Presence

Kimiko’s social media channels, primarily Instagram were built from the ground up to establish a consistent and engaging online presence. I developed a visual direction that reflected the brand’s playful street-food personality through real customer photos, short-form videos, and interactive posts. Content focused on promotions,, and product highlights that strengthened community connection and brand trust.

This teaser banner was displayed during Kimiko’s construction phase at Commercial Central Plaza. The design uses a peephole effect to create intrigue and anticipation, offering a playful first glimpse of the brand’s signature dishes while announcing its upcoming launch in October

Conclusion

The marketing campaigns transformed Kimiko’s visibility and growth potential. Rapid success required operational adjustments, but the results firmly established the brand and created lasting awareness for future expansion
